Hey folks, I don't think anyone needs to be unkind towards anyone here. Like someone said, this bloggist can be whomever they want to be here, no one needs to read or visit the blog if they disagree with anything.

So, should we still address you as Vance or Nic? :-)

On a totally different non-Hollywood note, I am in the planning stages of a trip to the Barrier Reef to dive and was wondering if there were any particular areas you recommend over any others? What about cities or towns that are best to access the area -- preferably not the tour book regulars? I prefer off the beaten path and fewer tourists/other divers. Chartering a sailboat for a week is also a consideration, so if you know some nice coordinates, that would be great too!

Possibly the Hamptons can be a ruse to set us off the track. But then again this is the 21st century and you can be anywhere in the world in a matter of hours.

I think Nic is right on the money and right on the honesty too.

Don't forget that if it's your blog you can go in and change the time zone to anything you want. If you set it at GMT, it will reflect GMT regardless of WHERE you are when you post your blog. It his blog is showing different time zones then he is doing it intentionally to throw you all off. Probably the same thing with the locations.

Best place to stay at is the city of Cairns the other town would be port douglas and that is crawling with tourists.
Best daytrip and view of the reef would be Outer Reef and Green Island Tours, which offers great views of the reef and a beautiful island filled with great views.
Charter boats are hard to find because most will take tourists for what they want to do so I recommend Quicksmart which is a bit pricey but they will take you places non of the others will.
Daytrips I recommend are a trip to Cape Tribulation, Kuranda for beautiful waterfalls, and Palm Cove.

Hope this helps you and 411 George Clooney and cast took a break from filming for a week.

You mean they actually give break$ for actor$ too? Do you realize how much that cost$ the $tudio?

IF I WERE RUNNING FOX I would fire the whole lot of them (Rance included) and in$titute a $trict 100 day $hooting $chedule. I would divide the crew$ into 50 $eparate team$ filming 50 different flick$ at a time. Each team would have to complete 3 film$ per year. That'$ 150 film$ per annum.
Then I would $it back and watch the profit$$$$$ roll in!
