Okay Now Here is the Truth...I will not ever admit to anyone who I really am...
As an actress in Hollywood, people really always want to know if I get along with other people or not. While the questions alwasy get annoying from the press, the questions you all ask me tend to make me open up more. But some of you should do more research before you ask me anymore questions. Like I have worked with Sandra Bullock before in a movie called Practical Magic. And she was absolutely adorable to work with. She has so much charm and beauty about her it makes her irresistable in the sense that she is wonderful. I have met Ben before and he was a comlete gentleman. Very nice however rough around the edges. I use Ronnie Spector to maintain the deathly glow I have about me. Sad thing is though that I have never been able to fully tan or I get sunburnt. But Ronnie is a genius with makeup and always manages to make me look good.
When I was a little lass, I always wanted to become (and I know this may sound weird but I was 5) a trapeze artist. I thought that I was tall enough to make it to the next swing so I would be good at it. Now all I really want to accomplish in my life is to find someone to share my life with. My last guy didnt really work out and I would like to find my soulmate before I die.
My mother is indeed a royal desendent, but to be in complete honesty the mother I consider to be my mum in every way is not my biological mum so really I am not related to the desendent of QE2. Sorry! Rance is not anywhere near royalty so you were right there.
As for my professional life I would like to do a little theater before I die and it would be nice to do it in London. That would be a dream come true.
I hope that word does not get out on this blog. I like the idea of a small group to bond with. Sid, Chinq, and all the originals you guys are FAB! To the newcomers welcome to my world.
I have now stopped talks for starring in the new wonderwoman movie because I feel it would be the wrong move for my career at this point. Am looking forward to the bewitched sript. More on that next time. And in wonderwoman i would not have played the lead. I have chicken legs. I was up for a part as a professor. To all of you thanks for making this blog a success and let us please not spread this to other people. I want to keep it like it is.

Love,
Nic

Glad I could help Sid! Chinq you like royalty?

I met Ronnie at Sundance a few years ago. I agree she is a genius - I would give my left arm to have her do me! She had just returned from Africa where she had been working on the ethereal and frail Ms. Basinger on the set of I Dreamed of Africa. I can't help but think that the two great things about acting (that's all I can think of!) is 1) filming on location all over the world. Not just in remote international settings but here in the US too. And 2) having the opportunity to step outside of your own life. It may be a surreal role, an amazing life or a pathetic existance, but how incredible to be able to explore that!! Not just give it thought, but give it action and life! Anyway... enough of that little tangent.

So, who is the mother you refer to? I don't know if you are adopted when you refer to a mother other than a biological one.

On a final note, don't lose hope about the soulmate... although not having celebrity on your side does not make it any easier finding a good man! Trust me, I know that well! Men are drawn to strong, intelligent women like a moth to the flame, but when it comes down to it, it emasculates or intimidates them and they can't stick it out.

ps. I thought you had done theatre and had done so in London?

Maybe she means MUSICAL theater.

Anyway... Vance, tell us something juicy but not hurtful about Rance. Now that you're single, would you ever go out with him? Or are you not intrested in confirmed bachelors. One can go out with an attractive man, without the prospect of marriage in the future, can't one? I know, it's a whole 'nuther game when you have kids. I went throught the same thing with my mom. She's happy now, finding love at 50 and still strong at 61. It will happen when it happens.

Got to run, dinnertime(I found a man who cooks).

Nicole did do theatre already, in New York. She actually bore her bare ass on stage. Rosie O'Donnell sent her flowers with a card stating

I would have never suspected that you would risk your health and well-being on a trapeze! How about skydiving for a thrill instead? Just kidding. Methinks once upon a time you might have had a wee bit of a death wish in you (most likely not now though, as it appears you have overcome that).

I agree with Sid's post on the glitz and glamour of filming, but the actual ordeal of doing so is rather disjointed. When confronted by my old college professors to write, direct, produce and edit my own 20 minute flick, I had no idea of how tedious and insane the whole process was. So I devised my own criteria for accomplishing that goal. I proposed to film everything from beginning to end in less than an hour. And I succeeded. Of course my method was rudely rejected by all the major studios as impossible or useless. No matter. Which brings me to the crux of this diatribe: I think you are right to return to the stage. Acting on stage is vastly different than acting for the camera in which the scenes are so separated in time and space (until the editor gets to it). Besides it is so boring...endlessly waiting for them to film your next line. Acting on stage is also more self-rewarding and revelatory than the silver screen. I never wanted to be an actor, but rather a director who would allow and encourage actors to reach out for their full potential.

Too bad you downplay the Lady Diana Spencer bit. Possibly you are exactly what Charles needs in his life. Anyway you will always be our little Princess.

As for the soulmate deal:

It takes two to tango baby! So the next time you're in Casablanca...

Sorry about that. I guess there is a word limit on your replies and I sped right by it.

If you are Nicole Kidman and Rance is George Clooney, isn't he going to be pissed that you've outed him?

By the way, given Nicole's incredible range in acting, it wouldn't surprise me if Vance is legit.

Oops, my bad!!! I completely forgot about Practical Magic! LOL LOL I'm so sorry!! I sure am glad my bubble has not been burst about Sandy. Usually, when I respond to these blogs I do so on the fly and that why I forgot about Practical Magic. I've got company coming in this weekend and a really bad crisis going on with my step-daughter so I wasn't really thinking at the time I wrote that. That why I like these so much. Gives me something else to think about for a few minutes. Anyway, thanks so much for answering!!!

I agree... and why did you say you loved working with Sean Penn and Sidney Poitier on The Interpreter, when it was Sydney Pollack not Sidney Poitier who is involved with the project....?? Wouldn't Nicole Kidman know this?

exactly what you said about the interpreter.
Nicole Kidman would know this.
And Nicole Kidman would never talk or write like this.
She's way too polite, friendly and shy:)
I could tell you so much more about her.
But if you really are a true fan of Nicole Kidman.
You'd know this isn't her...
